The purpose of the Contest is to design a logo that encompasses the overall vision for the Louis Robidoux Parkland & Pecan Grove. Therefore, the logo must be appropriate for use in professional business and educational settings.
-
The logo will be used online, in print, and on merchandise. Flexibility is a key requirement, including the need to resize easily and to look good in black and white as well as in color. It should also be visually appealing on both large and small scales.
-
The LRPPG partners retain the right to present logo submissions to a professional design agency for corrections, edits, and refinements. This does not affect submission prize awards or acknowledgement.
-
By virtue of entering the contest, all contestants acknowledge that they have no rights to the submitted artwork and that all rights belong to the Inland Empire Resource Conservation District/LRPPG.
-
Logos must be submitted in a .png and/or .jpg format.
-
Submissions do not have to be a vector file; drawings will be accepted with the understanding that the LRPPG partners will send the file to a design agency for digital rendering.
-
All contestants affirm their submissions are their own original work, have not been copied from others or from previous designs, including their own, and do not violate the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity.
