Join us for hands-on habitat support at LRPPG! Volunteers will help collect seeds from narrowleaf milkweed, a native plant that provides essential habitat for western monarch butterflies and other pollinators.
Collected seeds will support future planting and restoration efforts at LRPPG and across the region. No previous experience is needed. Staff will explain how to identify mature seed pods, collect seeds responsibly, and prepare them for future use.
Please wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Bring water, sun protection, and work gloves if you have them.
Because the event takes place outdoors, participants should be prepared for uneven ground and warm evening temperatures.
