FAQs About Our Workshops
How often do workshops take place?
Workshops usually take place on a Saturday. Please check our events calendar with more up to date information on the most current events to take place.
What happens at these workshops?
Workshops usually last 2 hours. The first hour, a speaker that is knowledgeable in the topic of the workshop will speak. Next is a 30 minute Q&A segment, where the public will have the opportunity to ask the professional speaker topic or topic-related questions. In the last 30 minutes, the public is encouraged to visit any partner resource tables. We sometimes have giveaways at the end of our workshops, and this would be the time those giveaways are dispersed among the attendees.
Do I need an RSVP to attend a workshop?
No, you do not need an RSVP to attend the workshops. Workshops are open to the public and family friendly.
Where do these workshops take place?
Workshops take place at LRPPG on site. Once you arrive on site and park in the gravel parking lot, go straight towards the Caretakers Residence and you will come across our tent set up. Please be on the lookout for a table with an IERCD staff member, ready to check you in.
What should I wear?
Workshops take place in an outdoor setting, so we ask that you dress prepared. Please bring closed toe shoes, a sunhat, and a refillable water bottle. We will have ice cold water available.
