Annual Stewardship Day

Please join the LRPPG partners including Huerta del Valle, Orange County Water District, San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District, and Sunshine Haven Wildlife Rehabilitation for our first Annual Stewardship Day at Louis Robidoux Parkland and Pecan Grove! The event will begin welcoming people at 9 AM, and feature booths staffed by community organizations distributing resources and offering activities and games for kids; partner staffers leading guided tours of the property; and opportunities to sign up and volunteer for everything from site workdays to upcoming long-term master planning. We hope you’ll join us on October 15th for a day out at LRPPG!

LRPPG partners will be taking attendees around the site to view current and planned work, answering questions and collecting feedback on best next steps on site

Our master planning partner will be hosting a booth on site and providing timeline detail and schedule of open meetings and opportunities to assess and comment on plans for immediate and long-term improvements and programming at Louis Robidoux!

Hear more about the critical work supporting accessible, sustainably-produced food by LRPPG partner Huerta del Valle.  Sample some fresh produce or head over to their pop-up produce stand to buy just-harvested fruits and vegetables from one of their Inland Empire community farm locations.

Staff from this critical site partner will have activities and updates on their work supporting completion of critical water projects and accompanying habitat restoration alongside other water provider stakeholders.

Free food and snacks will be available.
